emagine is looking for an adkar certified Project Manager to drive change initiatives in accordance with the NIS2 directive.

The European Union's new Directive on Network and Information Security, known as "NIS2", was officially approved by the EU Council on November 28th, 2022, and subsequently endorsed by the European Parliament on December 14th, 2022. This directive aims to establish a comprehensive framework of standardized requirements and enhancements for managing cybersecurity risks, reporting incidents, managing supply chain risks, and fostering collaboration, particularly in critical sectors like energy, transportation, healthcare, and digital infrastructure. The client will be subject to the increased compliance requirements with NIS2.

The main objectives of the Project Manager for Stakeholder and Change Management includes:

  1. Establish and drive a ‘NIS2 Business Unit implementation group’, consisting of senior level leaders from the clients business units in scope of NIS2, to ensure progress on 1st line implementation of NIS2 requirements.

  2. Plan and facilitate monthly meetings and perform follow-up activities when required for implementation - e.g., set up meetings to handle derived topics with dependencies on NIS2 implementation (ref. corporate ambition level and working assumption).

  3. Establish management reporting cycle and perform the reporting on the scope of the NIS2 implementation group.

  4. Give feedback to NIS2 Project Management Office, with status and contribute to joint coordination of action to ensure aligned progress.

  5. Act as a sparring partner for the Project Management office and workstreams regarding scope and the organisation readiness.

  6. Contribute to overall NIS2 Stakeholder Engagement/Management and organizational Change Management activities – potentially take on the role as OCM track lead.

  7. Contribute to NIS2 corporate communication plan and activities, to drive NIS2 compliance forward.

The Project Manager for Stakeholder and Change Management refers to the NIS2 Programme Manager and will be part of the NIS2 project organization, consisting of ~10 project team members.

Requirements:

  1. Experience working with senior management teams

  2. Strong communicator – verbal and written

  3. Strong facilitator

  4. 5-10 years’ experience driving compliance projects with good results 

  5. ADKAR Organizational Change Management experience

  6. Previous experience working as part of a program management team

  7. Holistic and pragmatic approach

  8. NIS2 and cyber security knowledge (nice to have)

It’s crucial to have a close cooperation with the rest of the NIS2 project to ensure coordination within the project and allocate ownership of the change effort to the respective tracks, where needed.
