emagine is looking for a UI/UX Designer for a client in the pharmaceutical industry.
Assignment details:
The client is looking for a UI/UX Designer with practical experience of designing interfaces for touch devices. The system they are working on includes a mobile app as well as iPad and web interfaces, meaning that many of the interfaces need to be touch friendly.
Responsibilities:
• Is responsible for driving design tasks according to current priorities – a key trait is being proficient in many different areas of the system we are working on but having touch devices as a key focus.
• Is responsible for defining the components for mobile first based on our Design System guidelines
• Design product functionalities by gathering feedback, translating that feedback into design decisions, and finally supporting development during implementation
• Is documenting design decisions in the product so that we can support our compliance strategy
• Collaborates with current UI/UX Designers, Business Analysists and Product Owners on direction and priorities
• Collaborates on the design system used within the organisation
Must-have competences:
• Have several years of experience in previous UI/UX design roles
• Are leaning more towards UI than UX but has a good understanding and appreciation of UX and user research
• Advocate for design thinking in product development
• Have experience with conducting user feedback sessions when it comes to gathering user feedback on designs throughout the process
• Know how to use Design systems, and tools like Figma
• Having SaMD (Software as Medical Device) or other relevant experience within the healthcare industry is an advantage
