emagine is seeking a Data Scientist to for our client in the pharmaceutical industry to help build comprehensive learning tracks for data science, tailored specifically towards R&ED scientists. The ideal candidate will have a passion for professional learning and upskilling, and a desire to improve the data science capabilities of others by creating effective training materials.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop training content for Pharmaceutical Data Science targeted at Python coders in R&ED.
Create training materials for various use cases as requested by the organization.
Develop Jupyter notebooks for data wrangling of scientific data as entry points for statistical analysis.
Participate in mapping internal training needs for machine learning in R&ED and contribute to the development of corresponding training materials.
Help establish software engineering best practices.
Essential Skills:
1. Strong interest in professional learning and upskilling, with a focus on enhancing others' abilities in data science.
2. Familiarity with Datalab and other internal R&ED Python packages.
3. Solid data science skills in Python.
4. Knowledge of internal data storage systems (such as ELN or NNCD) is an asset.
5. Familiarity with the ANNA library and other aspects of applied Machine Learning in R&ED.
6. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
7. Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve data science-related issues.
