emagine is looking for two experienced Senior Databricks Data Engineers with extensive expertise in Azure and Databricks technologies. In this role, you will be key to designing and implementing data solutions that leverage Databricks for advanced data engineering, machine learning, and SQL warehousing tasks. You should have a solid background in Databricks architecture and experience with clusters, medallion architecture, Delta Live Tables (DLT), and Unity Catalog.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure, implement, and manage Azure Databricks solutions.

  • Set up and maintain Databricks clusters and work within Databricks modules (Data Engineering, ML, SQL Warehouse).

  • Leverage medallion architecture, Delta Live Tables (DLT), and Unity Catalog for optimized data solutions.

  • Apply TDD, BDD, and CI/CD best practices to ensure high-quality code.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on Azure and Databricks.

  • Knowledge of Azure Storage, Synapse, Azure authentication patterns, and Azure well-architected principles.

  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.

  • Experience integrating with core data sources such as IIDP, Sciworm, NNCD, and ELN.

  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Fundamental understanding of databases, data warehousing, and data engineering.

  • Proficiency in Databricks configuration and development.

  • Experience with TDD, BDD, and CI/CD methodologies.

  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
