emagine is currently seeking 2 x Enhanced Due Dilligence and Customer Review consultants for a client in the financial sector.
The client are looking for two experienced Investigators to assess and mitigate Circumvention & Evasion (C&E) risks within their client base. This role involves conducting detailed investigations into customers, transactional activities, and counterparties to identify beneficial owners, adverse media, and potential connections to Russia, ensuring compliance with sanctions regulations.
Your Responsibilities:
Conduct end-to-end investigations into customers and transactions, including counterparty analysis.
Identify beneficial owners and assess adverse media and connections to sanctioned entities.
Draft Requests for Information (RFIs) and coordinate with Business Areas to address queries.
Review and evaluate RFI responses, providing detailed C&E risk assessments for each customer.
Your Profile:
Skilled in complex investigations, focusing on transaction and counterparty analysis.
Deep understanding of applicable sanctions regimes and the ability to identify potential breaches.
Familiarity with investigative tools such as Orbis and Dow Jones.
Experience in reviewing corporate records and assessing regulatory risks.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
