For a client, emagine is looking for 4 experienced Assistant/Deputy Development Team Leads to support the Senior Team Leads across four internal integration teams: Air & Sea, Group, Solutions, and Road. The candidate will play a key role in driving excellence in development processes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, and managing resource allocation effectively.
Technical & Resource Management:
Support the team in technical aspects and development tasks.
Manage resource allocation and oversee team workload across "Normal intake," specific projects, or multiple minor projects.
Ensure smooth transition from BizTalk to IBM App Connect Enterprise 12+.
Work with Java (IBM MQ), Kubernetes (K8s), and GIT for version control.
Collaborate cross-functionally with other development teams, Support, Release Management, DevOps, and Platform teams.
Leadership & Team Development:
Drive resource management and development task execution without direct people management responsibilities.
Guide the team in decision-making and encourage self-organization.
Ensure effective backlog management and task prioritization.
Support professional development through coaching and mentorship.
Evaluate development progress and forecast future needs using workflow metrics.
Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate closely with the Senior Team Lead to align tasks with organizational priorities.
Ensure that team deliverables meet stakeholder expectations.
Facilitate coordination across teams and dependencies.
Communicate departmental goals and achievements transparently.
Qualifications:
Experience with IBM App Connect Enterprise 12+ (IBM ACE) is required for this role.
Strong technical background with experience in BizTalk, Java (IBM MQ), Kubernetes (K8s), and GIT.
Experience as a developer with prior resource management responsibilities.
Solid understanding of integration development methodologies.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Start Date: No later than March 1, 2025.
Duration: Until March 1, 2026, with an option for extension.
Workload: Full-time.

Onsite/Remote: Minimum 3-4 days onsite per week.
