Job Ad: Security Engineer for Microsoft Defender for Identities (MDI)

This position presents an opportunity to work on state-of-the-art security technologies, significantly impacting risk management strategies while integrating Microsoft Defender for Identities within various systems.
Main Responsibilities
Enhance MDI service functionality to provide accurate risk signals for the XDR Solution.
Implement honeytokens to detect suspicious activities and insider threats.
Manage MDI agents on Active Directory Domain Controllers and Entra ID.
Collaborate with the security team for MDI signal integration.
Analyze security events related to MDI signals.
Mitigate false positives and enhance alert reliability.
Stay updated with cybersecurity trends for MDI advancement.
Mentor team members on MDI best practices.
Demonstrate problem-solving capabilities in high-pressure situations.
Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Must-Have Skills
Experience with Microsoft Defender for Identities and cybersecurity tools.
Understanding of Entra ID.
Knowledge of threat detection and risk profiling.
Strong problem-solving abilities in fast-paced environments.
Excellent collaboration skills.
Experience with signal tuning and optimization.
Familiarity with the Microsoft Defender XDR suite.
Good-to-Have Skills
Knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft ADFS.
Experience deploying agents on relevant platforms.
Understanding of Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps.
Relevant cybersecurity certifications (CISSP, CEH, etc.).
Experience with threat hunting and incident response.
Familiarity with Microsoft Insider Risk Management solutions.
