For a client, emagine is looking for a Product Owner with strong e-commerce experience.
The role of a Product Owner eCommerce involves supporting the eCommerce team during a six-month paternity leave.
Responsibilities:
Sprint Planning: Collaborate with the IT team to plan and execute sprints based on the product roadmap.
eCommerce Platform Rollout Management: Lead the rollout of the eCommerce platform across different markets.
Market Customization: Ensure the platform meets individual market needs and facilitate localized adaptations.
Support in Rollout Activities: Offer hypercare support, managing incident reports and prioritizing bugs for a smooth launch.
Onboarding Support: Create training materials, how-to videos, and product demos and conduct sessions for stakeholders.
Backlog Management: Prepare and maintain backlog items and requirements in collaboration with teams and architects.
Prioritization of Incidents and Bugs: Keep the platform running smoothly by prioritizing bug fixes based on impact.
UAT Testing: Supervise user acceptance testing, ensuring quality prior to deployment.
Change Tracking: Document decisions and updates for seamless handovers.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Ensure all backlog items are understood by the development team.
Requirement Gathering: Collect and document necessary stakeholder requirements and convert them into user stories.
User Story Preparation: Write actionable epics and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
Stakeholder Management: Manage expectations and communicate progress regarding the eCommerce roadmap.
Must Haves:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, IT, or related field.
Proven experience as a Product Owner in eCommerce or digital product development.
Strong understanding of eCommerce development and agile methodologies.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience collaborating with UX/UI designers.
Strong analytical skills for data interpretation and actionable strategy development.
Proficiency in project management tools and techniques.
Nice to Haves:
Experience working with international teams.
Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) and digital marketing tools.
Knowledge of Figma and responsive design principles.
