Title: Senior Consultant - Implementation Lead In-Vivo
Job Description:
We are actively seeking a structured and detail-oriented Senior Consultant to join our dynamic team as an Implementation Lead for a global Research and Early Development platform specializing in in-vivo studies. This role is crucial as we approach the final phase of our project, joining just before the User Acceptance Testing (UAT). We are on track for the go-live of a new SaaS application in Denmark this September, followed by international rollouts throughout the remainder of the year and Q12026.
The successful candidate will be part of a highly collaborative leadership team consisting of three individuals. In total we have a team of research and IT professionals, with a total team of over 15 members, which includes both internal and external personnel located around the globe. To this there is also a large element of vendor collaboration. As the Implementation Lead, you will play a key role in setting the strategic direction for the team, ensuring that we deliver a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) that meets the needs of our end-users.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Implementation Talks
Drive insightful discussions with end-users to ensure their needs are effectively addressed by system implementations.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to maintain alignment on project goals and actionable next steps.
Quality testing of deliverables before go-live
Coordinate Agile Practices
Following an Agile methodologies to enhance project efficiency, coordination and responsiveness.
Manage Stakeholder Communication
Establish and uphold clear, effective communication channels with stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
Organize and facilitate regular meetings to update stakeholders on project progress, addressing any concerns promptly.
Monitor Project Progress
Diligently track milestones and deliverables to ensure timely achievement of project goals.
Proactively identify potential risks or issues, employing effective mitigation strategies to safeguard project success.
Set Team Direction
Contribute to the leadership team by focusing on the strategic direction and priorities for both team members.
Inspire alignment and motivation within the team, driving effective collaboration towards achieving project goals.
Scope of Authority:
Decision-Making Power : The Senior Consultant will have the authority to influence project planning and organization, ensuring project objectives are met efficiently and effectively.
Coordination with Stakeholders : This role requires frequent collaboration with stakeholders, including team members, department heads, and external partners, to ensure project goals are harmonized and successfully executed.
Independence : Operate with a high degree of autonomy, providing guidance on scope changes and quality assurance while aligning with the strategic direction set by senior management.
Experience:
Minimum of 7 years in project management and/or Agile methodologies.
Proven track record of leading IT implementation projects within defined scope and timelines
Experience within Pharma is a distinct advantage, along with expertise in laboratory operations and in-vivo knowledge.
