Job Description: The OrderFlow4Future (OF4F) project is a strategic enabler initiative within the Supply Chain area, focused on strengthening and streamlining future order flows. This role is specifically aligned with Warehouse 3PL & Shipping/4PL, assuming full responsibility for the Technical Solution design in relation to the Distribution area and reporting directly to project leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver an IT solution design for Shipping (4PL) and External Warehouse (3PL) that meets business requirements and aligns with other IT functional areas.
Support the LOB track lead in evaluating business requirements relative to project technical guiding principles for the Outbound area, focusing on:
Aligning solution design closely with SAP standards and industry best practices.
Minimizing modifications to SAP standard code.
Ensuring alignment with ongoing projects (e.g., S/4/ External warehouse integrations, EWM) for future feasibility.
Creating a solution design that is easier to maintain and support.
Take ownership of the technical solution for assigned areas by defining the High-Level Solution design and assessing technical tasks, resource requirements, and durations.
Assist in identifying technical issues, assumptions, and risks during the design, build, testing/validation, and rollout phases.
Collaborate with the Senior Project Manager to ensure efficient project scheduling and progress reporting.
Key Requirements:
Highly self-driven and proactive.
S/4 HANA & SAP ECC technical understanding.
Functional skills and experience required within scope of own functional work.
Expert knowledge in Shipping, SD, Intercompany processes, and integration with 3PL and 4PL.
Culturally adept with an international background.
Pharmaceutical industry knowledge is a significant advantage.
