emagine is seeking a skilled Azure Cloud Engineer with a strong background in cloud infrastructure development. This role is vital for enhancing a financial client's cloud capabilities, focusing on optimizing public, private, and hybrid cloud services for improved performance and resilience.
Main Responsibilities:
Contribute to the development of the cloud infrastructure, encompassing private, public, and hybrid environments.
Support the uplift of applications to the cloud and explore resilience and disaster recovery options for on-premises applications.
Monitor and analyze key cloud metrics to identify improvement opportunities, enhancing performance and reliability.
Develop automated strategies for incident prevention, detection, and rapid response within cloud environments.
Collaborate with teams in the Cloud Centre of Excellence to align solutions with business goals and manage risk effectively.
Analyze technical requirements concerning cost optimization, scalability, and performance.
Key Requirements:
Solid experience building applications on a large-scale distributed cloud platform using Azure.
Senior level experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
Strong knowledge of automation scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, Go).
Experience with Container Platforms (Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with networking security and design principles including firewalls and segmentations.
Knowledge of integrating systems/services through REST and OPEN APIs.
Understanding of Cyber Security mechanisms.
Excellent communication skills for multidisciplinary teamwork.
Nice to Have:
Experience in the financial og pension industry or other regulated sectors.
Awareness of current trends in DevOps best practices.
