Job Description
On behalf of one of our clients in the pharmaceutical industry, we are looking for an interim Senior Scrum Master for our Data Centre team, located in GITO Cloud & Corporate Infrastructure, who can take the Scrum Master role in the team, until end of year.
The Scrum Master is responsible for facilitating, coaching, and supporting our agile delivery Data Centre team in the Global IT Operations. You will be working both independently and in close collaboration with first and foremost the product owner but also our business owners, Release Train Engineer, technical architects, and team members who is distributed globally. If you enjoy interacting with people, guiding your team in an inclusive and trusting manner, then you are probably a good candidate for the position.
The agile way of working will have top priority and there is full support from senior management to implement, adapt, check, and adjust to agile principles and new ways of working.
Main Responsibilities:
Being an agile champion for your team in the Cloud & Corporate Infrastructure area which means driving teams, vendors and customers in our client’s Agile way of working.
Acting as a change ambassador to drive the learning culture and the agile mindset in your agile teams.
Supporting your agile team members and Product Owner to reach their goals
Keep track of and help solve impediments and escalate if necessary
Helping the team to manage their progress via transparent backlog and board overviews, as well as preparing and aligning expectations before and during events
Key Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master and working with SCRUM, Kanban, or other agile methodologies
Knowledge and experience with implementing SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)
Familiarity with infrastructure
Understanding of operations and frameworks that support handling of operational tasks, such as ITIL, LEAN, DevOps
Experience with teams working on both development and operational tasks
Familiarity with task management systems like ADO (Azure DevOps), SNOW (ServiceNow), and SharePoint
Knowledge of IT development and/or operations in regulated industries, preferably pharma
A structured and empathetic people person who can embrace diversity and cultural differences
Bonus points for experience in team building and fostering psychological safety
