We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support the implementation of data governance. This role requires expertise in navigating complex IT systems and understanding the importance of data quality in business processes. According to the essential skills outlined, it is crucial to have substantial experience in mapping data flows and collaborating across disciplines for a holistic understanding of data usage.

 

Main Responsibilities

As a Senior Data Analyst, your core duties will include:

  • Navigating diverse IT systems and uncovering documentation of data flows and data sources.

  • Proposing relevant data quality controls for critical data.

  • Implementing data quality controls and conducting baseline measurements.

  • Collaborating across departments to ensure a holistic understanding of data.

 

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the IT and financial sectors.

  • Experience in data analysis and architecture of data solutions from source systems to user-facing solutions.

  • Experience with ETL processes and tools for data integration.

  • Experience with SQL, C# and knowledge of mainframe

  • Ability to understand and map business processes and value chains for effective data utilization.

  • Knowledge of Data Governance principles, data quality, metadata, and critical data elements.

 

Nice to Have:

  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams.

  • Strong communication skills to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
