Experienced Test Manager for Large-Scale Data Migration Program (Financial Sector)
We are looking for a senior freelance Test Manager to support a complex, multi-organisation data and infrastructure migration program within the financial sector. The role is part of a cross-domain QA program and will be central to ensuring quality across business areas, systems, and stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities:
Ensure quality assurance across multiple stakeholders and systems.
Plan and execute structured test processes.
Manage risk-based testing approaches.
Coordinate with teams across domains for seamless data migration.
Provide comprehensive reporting and defect handling.
Foster excellent stakeholder management, maintaining focus on outcomes.
Adapt to high-pressure environments effectively.
Key Requirements:
Extensive experience from the banking sector.
Hands-on experience with risk-based test approaches and risk handling processes.
Proven track record in large migration projects, especially data migration initiatives.
Strong technical and data understanding in complex IT landscapes.
Familiarity with JIRA and XRAY.
Ability to plan, execute, and coordinate structured test processes across domains.
Excellent stakeholder management skills – diplomatic, persistent, and outcome-oriented.
Ability to manage workload in high-pressure, multi-stakeholder environments.
Nice to Have:
Experience training manual testers in the use of test management tools.
Comfortable setting up reporting structures, defect handling, and test case design.
Experience in working with infrastructure transformation programs.

Location: Onsite in Copenhagen.
Travel: Limited – approx. 1–2 working days/month in Roskilde.
