On behalf of one of our clients in the pharmaceutical industry, we are seeking a consultant to support planning and execution of global R&D Investment Projects.

If so, you might be the perfect candidate for the project support specialist position.

We are seeking a specialist profile to support investment Project Managers (10-30 stakeholders, 2-3 years of duration, light on the tech side projects) with the support of the head of the project management. Projects to be supported are ranging anywhere from 15 DKKm to above 1 DKKbn, and go across construction/rebuild projects, automation projects/programmes and digital. Looking to find a resource willing to learn and quite hands on and willing to learn tools (eg. powerBI) and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continuously follow up on project plans, workstream progress, and adjust as necessary.

  • Prepare materials for SteerCo meetings and Gate Passages.

  • Develop and maintain standardized project management reports in Power BI and Excel.

  • Ensure alignment of invoices with purchasing orders and deliverables; manage contract setups.

  • Communicate effectively within the organization at various levels.

  • Analyze problems and take proactive actions to overcome project delivery obstacles.

  • Create comprehensive project plans including scope, timeline, and resource allocations.

  • Conduct structured risk analyses and mitigate identified risks.

  • Create stakeholder lists and continuously engage with stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

  • Degree in finance, business administration, IT, project management, or a related field.

  • Experience in project management or support, PMO, or portfolio management.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Experience with Clarity, SharePoint, Power BI, Coupa, and SAP is a plus.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Attention to detail and a structured approach.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

  • Proactive approach and self-leadership.

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of Power BI and its applications.

  • Experience with Coupa, invoice management, and purchasing orders.
