Introduction & Summary:
On behalf of one of our clients in the pharmaceutical industry, we are seeking an experienced Data Platform Architect proficient in developing data platforms using leading cloud providers, with a strong emphasis on Azure and Databricks. This role requires a deep understanding of both cloud warehouse and lakehouse solutions, particularly in the pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate will possess a robust architectural background and the ability to guide and influence key stakeholders effectively.
Main Responsibilities:
Guide External Supply (ES) on the established GSC architecture blueprint and Ways of Working (WoW).
Act as the primary point of contact for ES stakeholders regarding technical barriers and WoW.
Collaborate with the assigned ART lead architect and lead engineer to enhance existing ES initiatives.
Support the definition and refinement of the architectural blueprint and framework.
Ensure alignment of ES architecture with ongoing progress while identifying and incorporating new requirements.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience in developing data platforms using Azure and Databricks.
Experience with multiple cloud warehouse/lakehouse solutions, with a strong focus on Databricks.
Strong background in designing and developing data platform architectures.
Proficiency in data platform architectures specifically within the pharmaceutical industry.
Nice to Have:
Familiarity with emerging trends in data architecture.
Experience in cross-functional team collaboration.
Knowledge of compliance and regulatory standards in the pharmaceutical sector.
