On behalf of one of our clients in the pharmaceutical industry, we are seeking a motivated and results-driven Product Owner to join their KaaS (Kafka as a Service) team, a pivotal component of the enterprise-wide integration strategy within the pharmaceutical industry. This role focuses on the development and enhancement of our platform built on Confluent Cloud, dedicated to providing real-time data streaming, integration, and analytics to meet critical business needs. Your leadership will ensure the platform remains innovative, scalable, compliant, and user-friendly.
As a Product Owner, you will collaborate with a global team in an agile environment, prioritizing essential features and fostering platform adoption through user engagement and market analysis. A strong passion for technology, particularly in data streaming and event-driven architecture, is essential.
Main Responsibilities:
Product Vision and Roadmap: Create and communicate a clear vision and roadmap for the KaaS platform, ensuring it delivers stakeholder value.
Establishing OKRs and Metrics: Define, implement, and track OKRs to measure product success and drive continuous improvement.
Backlog Ownership and Prioritization: Manage and prioritize the backlog in collaboration with key stakeholders.
Quality and Compliance Focus: Ensure product decisions prioritize quality and compliance with regulatory standards.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as the principal liaison between business and technical teams to maintain alignment.
Customer Feedback and Improvement: Actively encourage user feedback to enhance product usability.
Platform Adoption and Engagement: Promote platform adoption and awareness across the organization.
Agile Leadership: Support agile practices to ensure the team delivers value iteratively.
Reporting and Insights: Provide regular updates on product performance to senior management.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience in a Product Owner or Product Manager role within an Agile framework.
Experience leading complex products and engaging with diverse stakeholders.
Strong skills in simplifying complex ideas and effective communication with technical teams.
Proficiency in project management tools like Azure DevOps.
Exceptional communication skills in English.
Agile or Scrum certification preferred.
Nice to Have:
Experience in building infrastructure products for development teams.
Enthusiasm for data streaming technologies (e.g., Apache Kafka) and analytics.
Hands-on experience with cloud-based solutions.
Flexibility in managing changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in analyzing customer feedback or market trends for product improvement.
Background in the pharmaceutical industry with a deep understanding of regulations.
A solid business acumen and ability to operate effectively in a global organization.
